New Moon

Ok so I was not thrilled with the movie Twilight, but I still love the series and am a devoted fan (in my own cynical way)... So they announced the release date for new moon! you can read all about it here I am hoping they will have a larger budget and the special effects will be better for this one!

We will wait and see!

I got my cookie on!

I shook off my earlier post and decided to make it Christmasie any ways! So I spent 3-4 hours baking cookies to take to some of our friends! Micah was a big help eating all the cookies that he deemed unfit to share with friends (what a trooper).
Mason was a big help; he kept the time for me by crying every 10 -15 mins! Oh the joy of finding the holiday spirit!

Mason in his jumper

I am the new jungle gym

Yeeehaw rider Mase!

Peanut butter and kiss cookies

Frosting the last of the sugar cookies(I had no food coloring...oops). These are snowball cookies!

So here's your holiday!!

I was leaving Walmart yesterday and I noticed that the X-mas tree lot in the parking lot had mini trees for $5.00, and I thought, "I know we are leaving in a week, but we could get a lil tree and a cheap stand and do christmas, and i won't feel bad about tossing a tree after a week..." I excitedly called Mic and asked if we could get a tree, and he said ok. So last night we got all bundled up and headed out to Walmart and the tree lot to get some Christmas cheer! We got to Walmart and THEY WERE SOLD OUT OF STANDS!!! How freakin rude! I was so bummed that I kinda started to cry (I have no real holiday decor; it doesn't feel like Christmas at all, it's Mason's first X-mas, and I have no traditons... I don't work so it's not like I don't have the time; I just can't leave the stupid house!!!), so Micah drove to the other side of town to try and find a stupid tree stand but everyone was sold out! So until we get to Utah its just not gonna feel like Christmas for us.

On a side note, I took Mason into the doctor's office today and our sweet lil boy has the Croup (laryngitis for babies)! Seriously, we haven't left the house in 2 weeks because of the Pink eye that won't die. Oh, for the freaking love! So we are home bound until we leave and I am just praying we don't get our families sick! I am thinking by the time we see my sis and Ben, or Kate and Dax...Mase won't be contagious. Ugh

I hear the train a comin, comin round the bend... 2nd of 3

Friday morning rolled around much quicker than I could have ever imagined and unfortunately for Kellie I had talked her into doing a lil early morning combat shopping! (Black Friday girl til I die) Kellie had never done the black Friday thing so instead of getting her up at 4 to wait in line, I told her we should get up at 5 in order to be at the store by 5:20 and then Kellie wouldn't have to fight her way into the toy section! We lived, which is better than I can say for that poor guy in New York, and no one spit on us, which is better than I can say for the girl who checked us out!

So at 11 we headed to Old Sacramento to see the train museum... I can't wait until Mase is old enough to enjoy seeing the big trains. All the kids loved it and the adults... well hey, there's still a kid in all of us (that is not meant to sound creepy)!

Walking to the museum

Three sisters and a cousin or two

Kristen and Debbie

Mark and Addi (she's a lil spit fire)

My cute boys

Mason was thrilled with the mini train sets!

PS. Mason and I are both home sick, and I just sneezed and wet my pants ... what the... how in the Hell... you have got to be kidding me! Why is it that the bladder is so abused during pregnancy? I will get my revenge on Mason one day (going to his school in my bath robe, pulling out naked baby pics to show his girlfriend, oh the places I will go!)

I'm fhankful for nofwing (i'm thankful for nothing)... 1st of 3

We got back from California late last night and I was just too tired to blog, so here comes the first of several posts...

We left Eugene at 3:30 on Wed and drove straight through to Davis. Mason was an angel, he slept most of the trip and when he was awake as long as I jumped in the back to play with him, he was a happy camper. I was sure after sleeping all afternoon and evening we would be up and playing through the night... nope we climbed into bed and lil man was dead to the world before I we were!

We woke up Thursday, to the smell of a Turkey cooking(mmmm yummy) Kellie's sisters Kristen and Debbie where already there with thier families. The party was rockin, well there were 7 children under 5, so an adult was always rocking or soothing a child (the kids cried in shifts, so everyone got a break... very considerate of them)

Dinner was so yummy, Kellie handled everything like a pro! As we sat down for dinner Khale and Gabe both decided to have mini meltdowns (someone was sitting in someones place) So when Charles asked the kids what they were thankful for, Khale piped up and said "I'm fhankful for nofwing"! It was the funiest thing I have heard in a while!

After dinner and some good naps we went to see Madagascar 2, what a cute movie! The whole day was perfect!

Debbie and Senya

Handsome lil man!

Mason putting the moves on Senya ... it looks like he is doing the classic arm stretch and put around your shoulder.
