Happy Birthday Mase man!

Mason is 2, where did the time go?
My poor boy started of his birthday w/ a quite the bang... litterly.  Mason rocked his chair really hard and it fell over backwards, we spent most of his birthday morning at urgent care, where they determined he had a concussion.  My poor boy!

We spent the rest of the day relaxing.

Miles 1 Month

Micah thought it would be cool to take Miles' picture in the same outfit that Mason wore.  Its amazing to see my boys at the same stage, and see the similarities and differences.  Time is going to fly!

This is Miles

Thanks Gabe & Khale... in pictures!

Mason got a special treat in the mail from some of his favorite cousins.  Gabe and Khale recently went to Disneyland, and they were just so awesome to send Mase an edible memento!  Here is what happened when we opened the package!

He knew instantly it was candy
Mama open it!
Ahh thats better

Dad look what I got!

THANK YOU!!!

Thanks Clinger Family, you are too wonderful!

How I am keeping my sanity!

Mason is adjusting to having Miles around, but sometimes he can be a bit rough (just a bit).  I worried constantly about how we were going to keep the baby safe and help Mason to adjust to not being our only child anymore.  This is what we have come up with:

I found this "cage" at a yard sale 2 days before we had Miles, brand new, for $20 bucks (best 20 I've spent in a while)
Seriously, this has saved my sanity!

My friend Anna, just finished using her pack and play (I had been drooling over several at Toys R us that were just way out of the budget)  She let me buy hers for a steal!  The changing station is a perfect deterrent, I hide Miles under it when he naps, and Mason can't share his books and cars.

This is my new car seat cover, my friend Nichole made me!  I love it!
Its saved poor Miles from the rain several times already.

Thank you so much Nichole!

Slowly but surely

The adjustment from 1 child to 2, has been hard, but not impossible.  Everyday we do a little better!  Right now instead of the normal 15 minutes late, I run 30 mins late (my goal for the summer is to slim it down to 20).  My friends call it Clinger standard time (CST)!  I still tire out fairly quickly, and unfortunately for Mase most of our days are spent at home hanging out and resting
.
We spend a lot of time watching cartoons...

And hanging out in our PJs

A lot of time in our PJs

Its always a relief when Daddy gets home!  Many hands really do make light work!
