We got a crib!!!!!

I have been on the hunt for a crib for the last month. I have mostly been watching for a great deal on craigslist. My girlfriend Anna decided to help me find a crib and for the last week it has been her mission in life... but everything she found would always be sold really quick (go figure, other people want nice for cheap, too) So I decided to email all the crib listings that didn't have a picture and request one... and this is the beauty we got!

I cleaned it really good (it needed it) and set it up so he could sleep in it last night!
I bought a bumper last week at goodwill (they have the cheapest books) and obviously I can't really use a bumper with this crib because of the solid back sooo I imprivised. I measured out enough bumper to cover the bars and took apart the rest to make ties that connect in the back! I am debating on whether to make a crib set or buy a new one. What do you think?

Then I moved rooms around today... Mase is in his crib, in his room!

I couldn't bare to sell the bed, one day people WILL visit us and I will have a bed for them to sleep on! So in the meantime the guest bed will hold up the wall.

I'm thinking on painting the crib black, and modge podging cute scrapbook paper on the headboard, any ideas?

The late sleeper

Mason has been keeping us up late every night this week... like 3 AM late! Last night we had a major blow out at like 3, it was so bad that I had to give Mase a bath he covered himself and me... I shudder just thinking about it now! These are pictures of him waking up this morning at noon! We were exhausted and I am not going to lie it was really great to sleep in.

Houston we have lift off!!!

We have a mover and a shaker in the house! The sad thing is who knows how long he's been moving like this... oh yeah who's the worst parent ever... I AM. (Mic's been studying so it really is all me) The funny thing is I would leave the room for a minute and come back to him across the room, I really just thought he rolled like a mad man!

My projects!

I made a crayon roll and a nursing cover for my sister in-law Kate, and I forgot to take them with me over christmas... I got home and was getting ready to mail them, but I just could't. They didn't match! So I went and got some cute matching material and this is what I came up with!

Sorry Kate I know it so sucks when people ruin a suprise... but these where way too cute not to show!

Never fear the ones that did not make it to Kate will be given as after thought seperate gifts to other friends! hahah j/k or am I serious!

Teeths... Tooths?

Mason popped his first two teeth in less than 24 hours! One evening there was only one tooth and we woke up the next morning and there was another one! Mason is now officially allowed to eat solids! (who cares that he's been eating solids for 4 months) The doctor assured me that Mason is ready, and its totally normal for me to go through withdrawals for the lack of extra nursing/bonding time... Never mind that I told the doctor on our last 10 visits that Mason is eating solids! Oh well!

Mason's stats
Height 27.5"
weight 18.3 lbs

Our lil man is now a lil above average! Wahoo... in a family where there are children (on both sides) that are off the charts, we will take joy in finally getting over that 50th percentile!

It was a fight to get any teeth pics (just for fun I will go over my imagined conversation with Mason)

You want picture of my what?! I think not

hahaha you still missed um

She gets me with the damn food everytime! For the love, I'm open!

Poor Mason... his time with us is just beginning! (can't you imagine when he finally can crawl, filling his lil napsack and crawling (running) away from home!) Hahaha I kill myself!

We found frosty and he wouldn't leave us alone!

Our time in Star Valley was so fun. It had been almost 18 months since either of us had been in the Valley, it was definately good to be home! We stayed so busy, from family parties, to basketball games, and movies... every day was full and busy! I think sometimes you have to go away, to be able to come home (does that make sense?) Well here are a few pics of our time... enjoy!

I will no longer be Judy's favorite daughter in-law (I really don't think I ever was)... but I could not resist posting these gems of her. Poor thing I think we wore her out!

Judy, one day when you least expect it I will take out an ad in the paper and one of these pictures will be there wishing you a happy day!

Watching the girls play basketball.

Go Christie! (she's the girl out front).

DeAnn's Birthday lunch!

I turned around one morning to this pleasant surprise (someone really should have warned me).

Ride 'em Cowboy (we start um young in this family).

Micah and I both agree that our trip home was so fun, more than we could ever have hoped it to be! We are counting down until our next trip already!

We want Frosty!

Oh how quickly the season goes... if only Tax season went as fast! We were so excited to spend christmas with my family and new years with Micah's... as always we laughed until we cried, ate until our pants didn't fit, were spoiled rotten, and I cried when we left (I know you are all so shocked... I do have tear ducts) Here are some pictures of the time we spent with my family (I mostly took pics of christmas morning)!

Grandma got matching PJs for the kiddos (Benjamin, Ephraim, and Mase)

Cami's boys

Mason's a hair puller (you do what you have to, to get your way!)

Grandma could not get enough of the boys!

Mason tried to eat Ben (Ben was not thrilled)

WE are so not morning people ...even for Santa!

The first present...

He does not want help from Aunt Miki

The bow was his favorite gift... he is a hunter!

Thanks mom and dad for a great time... June is around the corner!
