Peek-a-boo

I have been in this awesome cleaning groove lately, I like everything clean and put away during the holidays. I never know whos going to pop by and I would prefer they were delusional about how we live!

So while I was vacuuming, Mason removed all the pots and pans and decided to hide.

Shopping with him is really going to be a joy now!

Mason may not know his animals, but he knows his mascots!!!

The Ducks are one win away from the Rose bowl and if they win we are going to do our best to see them in action during the Tournament of the Roses (by we I mean Micah) I enjoy watching football w/ my girlfriends, but I can't stand watching with Micah. We have been working with Mason to properly represent the Ducks! This is his own little version.

All Hallows Eve... and the Game of the year!

I started out dressing Mason as a Cowboy and he look so adorable... until we got to Micah's work party and he started throwing his guns at the other kids! oops, bad mom! He ended the night at Trunk or Treat dressed like a Lion... a girlfriend gave me the lion costume almost a year ago and it ended up being my favorite of the evening! You live and learn... next year we will focus on easy!!

I knew all week that Halloween wasn't really going to happen... It was annouced that Gameday was coming to Eugene and Micah was absolutely ecstatic and determined to go rain or shine!! Then his friend (and new brother) RL won tickets and invited Micah to come with him!! Micah was sooo sooo sooo very excited he couldn't really function the rest of the day! When Saturday came he was up at 3:50 am to head to Denny's and then on to Gameday! He came home rested for a few hours and then left for the Game. The Ducks won, we beat UCS 44-20 and it was awesome (yes I watched) While the guys were at the Game, I had the wives and babies over for pizza and chit chat! All in all it was a great evening and I wouldn't change a thing!

I forgot to take pictures of him in the lion costume, so I did a quick (however quick chasing him around the house and wrestling him into a costume is) photoshoot!

Pumpkin Patch... we came, we saw, we conquered!!!

We rode out the the North 40 in these fun hay rides... Mason had a blast!

Our cute family ready for the ride

Mason got a little overwhelmed w/ how big the field was... and he kept tripping over the pumpkin vines.

We had such a great time!

Now if only we can carve the pumpkins!

My sneek peak!!

My wonderful Sis in-law had the most adorable pictures of her kids taken... I seriously was drooling over how cute these pics are sooo I called her to get the name of the photographer Click here to see her blog and I begged Cassie to fit us in while we were in Idaho. She did and look at how cute this is!

Mason was an absolute pill, she brought out this awesome tric and that was the end he refused to look at the camera on comand again... and yet she still did so awesome!

These are my adorable neice and nephews, they really are soo cute in real life too!

Ode to Micah... 30 is gonna be a B!@$H!

Micah is 30, yes you did read that correctly he is 30! Which means that depending on your relationship to Micah you are either officially OLD or well on your way!

Micah has handled this new decade much better than we all thought he would, there has been only one or two occasions that he has locked himself in the bathroom, forgotten the name of his child and gotten lost on his way home from the mailbox... what can I say we are helping him to age w/ the dignity and respect he deserves!

Here is a little trip through the ages with Micah!

Visiting Utah...

It is so fun to see my family and friends and catch up! Utah is always changing and when we visit it seems the only consistant thing is construction on I-15!

Of course my mom and I went yard saling and I found this for Mase for 10 bucks! It's going to stay at G-ma's house for a while until he can finally reach the pedals... can you tell he is just waiting for someone to push him!

Poor Grandma doesn't have a chance!

He couldn't possibly be a curious Toddler could he?

My Grammie had so much fun playing with Mason, that she barely payed attention to me!

My fun SF, GF's I miss them all so much!

Down on the Farm

We have spent some great time in Star Valley, with Micah's Mom and Stepdad. It has been wonderful to slow down and enjoy our surroundings... Mic keeps saying how easy and slow life feels in the Valley. We always forget how great life in the Valley is until we come back for a visit. Simplicity has its benefits!

Mase conquering Jeeter... He claims this Dog in the name of little boys everywhere!

So many rocks so little time

Jeeter had Mase in hysterics anytime she would run around or bark... somebody is going to want a puppy for christmas!

He gave Blue hay and then kicked him in the nose... I think we might have the beginnings of a bully!

We ditched church after Sacrament meeting and headed to visit Marty's grave, its always so peaceful up there.

Cap'n Phil & a party

Cap'n Phil Harris from Dealiest CAtch visited Eugene... we of course went. Micah's favorite show is deadliest catch and while we lived in Alaska I cut alot of fishermen hair (no none of the crew, but everyone new or had worked w/ the captains and they were not a loved group... I believe they were most often refered to as SELL OUTS). After we waited in line for an hour and it didn't move we decided to take some pics on the sly and head out!

Cap'n Phil and his stoned son Josh... oh yeah he was totally out of it.

Mason playing in the sand at the Moss BBQ

He brought as much home in his diaper as he could fit.

We met some great new families at the party and decided to have a get together.
Ionly got a couple of pics because Mase decided to go Romeo on us and would hug the little girls and then fall backwards with them still wrapped up tight and then when he landed he would wrap his legs around them... make you own conclusions but I think we are going to have birds and the bees talk w/ him while he's still in pre school.

Tawny finally pulled lil Milly out of harms/Mason's way! I really did jump everytime he was headed at someone I just didn't always get there in time!

Micah and I enjoying some grown up conversation... Finally!
